This is an inquiry project grown from the minds of a few teachers, looking for ways to engage our students and support them with the technology tools we believe will support their learning. These 5th grade teachers in Hudson, WI have built an inquiry project to answer the question: "How can technology benefit me as a life-long learner?".
They are connecting with local and national resources, building the 21st century skills of communication and collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, information literacy, innovation, problem solving, and self-directed learning. After studying and immersing the students in content, they will create projects to show the many ways technology can benefit them. They will investigate not only tools, but content areas, ideas and programs that can benefit them long term. We are excited that you're willing to join us on this adventure.
The blog will be consistently updated by students throughout the process.
I have learned a lot from this project, including my answer to this question. It was a fun project to be in.
